About the Boston Sea Rovers Silent Auction
The Boston Sea Rovers 2026 Silent Auction site will go live for mobile bidding on March 1, 2026 — stay tuned for the website link. Attendees can view items in person during our live event, held March 14–15, 2026 in the Exhibition Hall at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel – Boston North Shore in Danvers, MA. Bidding closes at 3:00 PM on Sunday, March 15 and all items must be picked up by 4:00 PM, unless otherwise specified in the item description.

Boston Sea Rovers Silent Auction Rules
- Agreement to Rules
By registering for the event, each attendee agrees to abide by these Silent Auction Rules and any additional terms posted during the event. - Auction Item Availability
The Boston Sea Rovers reserves the right to add or remove auction items at any time without prior notice. - How to Place a Bid
A valid bid must be submitted electronically using the auction platform. Select the item, enter a bid amount that meets the minimum increment, and click “Submit.” - Auction Closing Time
The silent auction will close at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 15, 2026. No bids will be accepted after the auction is officially declared “closed.” - Extended Bidding Policy
To ensure fair competition, any item that receives a bid within the final 3 minutes of the auction will have its closing time extended by 3 additional minutes. This process may repeat with each new bid, up to a maximum extension of 30 minutes per item. Once no further bids are received within a 3-minute window, the item will close. - Winning Bid
The highest qualifying bid at the time of closing will be deemed the winning bid. - Winner Notification and Payment
Winners will be notified via smartphone once the auction closes. Payment is due immediately and must be shown at checkout to claim items. Unpaid items may be forfeited after 24 hours and offered to the next highest bidder. Repeat non-payment may result in disqualification from future auctions. - Item Pickup and Shipping
All items must be picked up by 4:00 p.m. on Sunday unless prior arrangements have been made. For shipping or alternate pickup options, contact the Silent Auction Team during the event or email silentauction@bostonsearovers.com before the auction closes. - Final Sale Terms
All sales are final. No refunds, exchanges, or cash redemptions are permitted. The Boston Sea Rovers is not responsible for items left unclaimed after the event. - Assumption of Risk
Bidders assume all risks associated with participation and item use. By bidding, you agree to hold harmless the Boston Sea Rovers, its members, organizers, donors, sponsors, and volunteers from any liability. - Item Restrictions
Some items may include restrictions, blackout dates, or availability limitations as noted in the item description or on gift certificates. - Redemption of Services or Custom Items
For some services or custom items, the winning bidder may be responsible for contacting the donor directly to arrange fulfillment. Instructions and contact details will be provided via email after the auction. - Fair Market Value and Tax Deductibility
Item values are estimates of Fair Market Value (FMV) and have not been appraised. The Boston Sea Rovers is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Any amount paid above FMV may be tax-deductible — consult your tax advisor.
