We came together to celebrate the life of Boston Sea Rover, Joe Mazraani. In a beautiful tribute, we gathered around the horn of the Andrea Doria. Joe and a team from D/V Tenacious discovered the horn in 2016 and recovered it in 2017. Joe painstakingly restored it in collaboration with a number of artisans. On July 25, 2021, exactly 65 years after the sinking, the horn was sounded to honor those who perished on the Doria as well as the survivors. Yesterday, the horn was sounded again, the second time ever since her sinking, to honor our friend, shipwreck hunter, Boston Sea Rover, Joe Mazraani.
