The Jake Duvall Memorial Dive Training Scholarship

On Jake’s Behalf

Our beloved member, Jake Duvall, passed away in 2019. Jake was a staunch supporter of the internship program and he helped organize and host our yearly fundraiser dinner with his extensive knowledge of wines. In 2020, the Sea Rovers announced the start of The Jake Duvall Memorial Dive Training Scholarship! The goal of this scholarship is to provide access to the underwater world for Boston-area high school students that have a passion for the ocean and a desire to learn to dive, but who may lack the financial ability to achieve such a goal.
