Where the #*%! Are My Images? – How to Get and Stay Organized in Lightroom

Do you know where your images are? Are they easy to find and properly backed up, or are they spread out over multiple drives and computers in a tangle of mystery folders? If you count yourself among the many organizationally challenged Lightroom users out there, then this hands-on workshop is for you. You’ll get the tools and techniques you need to whip your image library into shape, once and for all.

• Easy importing from a media card
• Easy importing from existing folders
• Creating presets to automate and customize
• Exporting, Emailing and Uploading to Social Media
• Troubleshoot your current Lightroom catalog
• Re-link missing folders and images
• Merge your iPhoto, Photos, or Aperture Library with Lightroom.
• Merge your Laptop and Desktop Libraries.
• Customize a reliable backup strategy.

To get the most out of this workshop, you’ll need a laptop running Lightroom (Lightroom 4 or later), and at least 1 external hard drive, all with the appropriate power sources and cables.

Class limit of 12 for plenty of one-on-one help

Participants will receive a 16GB USB3 flash drive containing class materials, and a laminated keyboard shortcuts sheet. They will also be added to the guest list for the Go Ask Erin/Newmediasoup Photographer’s Happy Hour, Sunday from 3-5pm.
