Mast, Roderic

Roderic B. Mast is President of Oceanic Society, America’s first ocean conservation non-profit (est. 1969). A marine biologist, Rod Co-chairs the IUCN Marine Turtle Specialist Group; leads the State of the World’s Sea Turtles (SWOT) Program; and is former President of the International Sea Turtle Society. Rod is a conservation travel expert who has led life-changing nature tours on every continent, and he has overseen global marine and terrestrial biodiversity conservation efforts for three decades with Conservation International, WWF, and RARE.
