John Lyons is a third year PhD Candidate at UMass Dartmouth studying the evolution of Pacific reef fishes. Prior to his graduate studies, he worked as an aquaculture specialist at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute’s zebrafish lab, an observer for National Marine Fisheries, and a private aquarium technician.
Amanda Redman is a second year PhD Candidate at UMass Dartmouth, studying the population genetics of Kemp’s Ridley sea turtles. In addition to extensive work with seal and sea turtle rehabilitation with the National Marine Life Center, Amanda is a dedicated and experienced home reef tank enthusiast.
