The Three Phases of the Moonstone: Lone Star/ Moonstone/ In Situ
A small portion of the population has the ability to explore beneath the sea. An even smaller group of us has the expertise to go beyond sport diving limits. We are the lucky ones. The ones who get to explore and touch the past through our underwater adventures. What about the rest of society? In the past, we have been able to bring historical artifacts from the depths to share with people around the world. We gave them the ability to see what we saw, to study what we studied and to marvel at what we marveled at. However, things have changed. Leaving wrecks in situ prevents us from recovering and restoring artifacts. As these wrecks sit, they deteriorate and bury pieces of the past, where no one will ever be able to see them. Join Bart on the journey of this vessel, from its beginnings as the Lone Star through its time as the Moonstone to its place in situ today.
