This presentation will focus on shooting techniques for still photographers that will help attendees create compelling images of animals that can be referred to collectively as Mr. Big. A partial list of these animals includes whales, dolphins, sharks, manta rays, sea lions and manatees. In some instances Mr. Big can be lit using strobes, but there are many scenarios in which Mr. Big is too big to light with a strobe, or you simply cannot get close enough to your subject to gain any benefit from using a strobe. I will delve into ways to make the most out of your encounters. I will illustrate my presentation with sample images from my library.
